Parents will find a pediatrician for their child or children at Touchpoint Pediatrics. Our five outstanding doctors provide complete medical services for expectant parents, their infants and adolescent children.
Your pediatrician will work with new parents to schedule appropriate wellness exams for infants. We counsel new parents on breastfeeding, formula and when to introduce solid foods to babies. Parents have a patient portal for each child where they can refer to the child's growth and immunization record.
Our pediatricians are on call 24/7 to answer questions. Doctors include Touchpoint founder Jennifer Shaw M.D., Stuart Slavin M.D., Valerie Tom M.D., Margot Kerrigan M.D. and Danielle Corpuz M.D.
We only accept new patients who have received or will receive recommended immunizations. We respect our patients, parents and offer a flexible schedule for immunizations, but all of our young patients must be immunized prior to entering New Jersey public schools and many private schools per the guidelines mandated by the State of New Jersey.
Recommended immunizations include:
- Tdap vaccine for pertussis (whooping cough), tetanus and diphtheria
- Polio vaccine
- Immunization against measles, mumps and rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Chickenpox (varicella)
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has a list of the recommended vaccines and the age at which they should be administered. We strongly recommend following this program for the health of your children.
